Jared Porter, so, RB, CD East:Â Â The Panthers back was a dynamic threat all evening against Harrisburg in a 34-27 loss Friday night. Porter racked up 227 markers on 28 carries. He also ripped a 58-yard run to paydirt to cap an electric evening.Â
Derek Gibney, sr., QB, Susquenita: The Susquenita gunslinger turned in his best performance of the season Friday night against the winless Newport Buffalos, stepping outside the chalk at the end of the night with 390 yards–356 passing and 34 more rushing–in his back pocket. He accounted for five scores on the evening.
Alex Erby, sr., QB, Steel-High: This was a special evening for Alex Erby-one he’d been thinking about for a long time. The senior QB broke the PA career passing yards record Friday night en route to 341 passing yards and five touchdowns.
Wyatt Ehrenzeller, jr, QB, Juniata: Wyatt Ehrenzeller cooked all evening for the Indians, posting video game numbers in a 48-28 victory against Boiling Springs. His final stat line included 281 passing yards and seven touchdowns.
Carter Burton, jr, QB, Lower Dauphin: Carter Burton fueled the offensive firepower for the Falcons this week against Cedar Cliff. He passed for 145 yards and rushed for another 67 stripes and a touchdown in his team’s 21-16 loss to the Colts.
Shawn Lee Jr., jr, QB, Harrisburg: Shawn Lee Jr. proved to be the X-factor on both sides of the ball for the Cougars, totaling 197 yards of offense — 128 rushing, 69 passing — and four touchdowns. He also picked off a pair of passes in a 34-27 win over CD East.
Deakon Schaeffer, sr, RB, Mifflin County: Deakon Schaeffer was a force this week against Milton Hershey, racking up 263 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns in a 42-35 win against the Spartans.
Cole Bartram, sr, RB, Northern: In an upset victory Friday night, Cole Bartram rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-21 victory against East Pennsboro. He also contributed on defense with six tackles.
Lex Cyrus, jr, WR, Susquehanna Township: Lex Cyrus helped the Indians reposition themselves as favorites for the Colonial Division title this week, hauling in eight passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-0 win over Greencastle-Antrim.
Chase Regan, sr, WR, Bishop McDevitt: Chase Regan hauled in six passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns Friday night in a 42-7 victory against Hershey.
