Danny Darno, sr, QB, Notre Dame-Green Pond: Danny Darno is no stranger to our weekly Player of the Week poll. The dynamic dual threat QB threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Northern Lehigh.
Luke Stevenosky, sr, RB, Minersville: Another player with a near-weekly spot in our poll, Luke Stevenosky rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-28 victory against Catasauqua.
Rory Dixon, fr, RB, Marian Catholic: Rory Dixon surpassed the 200-yard mark in his team’s shutout victory against Shenandoah Valley. Dixon hit the showers with 214 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-0 victory.
Cade Sawyer, sr, RB, Southern Lehigh: Saucon Valley received a heavy dose of Cade Sawyer who ran for 218 yards and four touchdowns in his team’s 47-0 victory.
Alex Achenbach, sr., RB, Williams Valley: Another week, another huge performance. This time Achenbach tallied 316 rushing yards on 28 carries. He had five touchdowns and threw a 27-yard touchdown strike to cap a 49-41 victory against Mahanoy.
Colm McGroarty, sr, QB, Mahanoy Area: A former winner of our weekly poll, Colm McGroarty is back on the ballot after he posted 243 total yards of offense and four touchdowns in a 49-41 loss to Williams Valley.
