Mikal Shank, QB, Harrisburg: In a game that was never in doubt, Shank provided a steady hand en route to a 42-0 blanking of Commonwealth division foe Cedar Cliff. Shank capped a productive Saturday afternoon at Severance Field with 246 yards on 18-of-22 passing for three touchdowns.
Hank Lustig, WR, State College: Connor Kulka’s top target Friday night against Chambersburg was senior wide receiver Hank Lustig, who delivered a standout performance. Lustig caught a game-high seven passes for 123 yards and scored three touchdowns, helping lead the Little Lions to a dominant 40-0 victory.
Preston Burnett, RB, Mechanicsburg: The Wildcats took full advantage of their workhorse back Friday night against Gettysburg. Burnett toted the rock a game-high 24 times for 130 yards and a touchdown to help fuel Mechanicsburg to a 35-14 victory.
Carter Dreibelbis, RB, Upper Dauphin: Yes, the Trojans fell to Line Mountain Friday night, 33-20, but Dreibelbis shined in a game that was far closer than the final score indicates. Dreibelbin found plenty of space to rack up 117 yards on 18 carries. He score a pair of touchdowns.
Dalton Kratzer, RB, Newport: The Buffaloes didn’t have trouble scoring Friday night against Susquenita and Kratzer was a big reason why. The senior back carried the water for his comrades en route to a 57-12 victory. All he did was notch 27 carries for 186 stripes and a touchdown on the evening.
