Vote now for our 4th Down Magazine Mid-Penn Conference Player of the Week. Our poll will remain open until Wednesday evening at 11 p.m. Voting is allowed once every 30 minutes.

Jaxon Tyree, RB, Northern York: In his final game at the high school level, senior Jaxon Tyree turned in a stellar performance to lead the Polar Bears to the team’s sole victory of the season, 22-21 against Palmyra. On a game-high 31 carries, Tyree erupted for 191 yards—including a 99-yard touchdown.

Hunter Strohm, RB, Lower Dauphin: With a playoff berth on the line, the Falcons turned to their ground attack to knock off Gettysburg, 35-15. Strohm led the way scoring four touchdowns on a hardy 11.4 yards per tote average to finish the evening with 228 yards on 20 carries.

Ayden Martinez, WR, Big Spring: When the Bulldogs needed a big play to keep their playoff hopes alive, Martinez came down with the big catch. The junior hauled in five receptions for a game-high 118 yards and a touchdown in a 31-21 victory against East Pennsboro.

Jerome Ross III, RB, Steel-High: The Roller’s Ross III exploded for a monster night Friday against Newport. Ross scorched the Buffs for 307 yards on 23 carries. He added three rushing touchdowns including a 99-yarder and also returned a kickoff 80 yards to pay dirt in a 46-30 victory.
