Vote now for our 4th Down Magazine Mid-Penn Conference Player of the Week. Our poll will remain open until Wednesday evening at 11 p.m. Voting is allowed once every 30 minutes.

Nate Rawlings, LB, Gettysburg: In a back and forth battle that produced more than 70 combined points, Rawlings was a force who Palmyra needed to account for on every play. The junior racked up 18 total tackles on the evening in a 43-35 loss to the Cougars.

Bryan Maduena, WR, Hershey: Maduena proved to be Cam Sweeney’s favorite target Friday night against Northern York. The senior hauled in six receptions—including a 51-yard touchdown—for 134 stripes to help fuel a 42-14 victory against the Polar Bears.

D’Antae Sheffey, RB, State College: Sheffey turned in a workhorse performance Friday night against CD East in a 39-7 victory. The senior toted the rock 24 times for 183 yards and four touchdowns to help his team cruise to an easy victory.

Cam Green, QB, Chambersburg: The Trojans’ sophomore quarterback has been coming up huge for his team recently. After firing the only touchdown pass against Carlisle last week, Green made his presence known against Altoona on 13 of 18 passing for 173 and three touchdowns in a 28-10 victory against the Mountain Lions.

Nickayus Zenon, WR, Middletown: In a tight game, Zenon connect on the home run from quarterback Harrison Ortiz in a 14-10 victory against East Pennsboro. Zenon secured a game-high 170 yards receiving on eight receptions, including a 79-yard touchdown—one of two on the evening.

Torin Evans, QB, Susquehanna Twp.: Evans almost needs a standing place in our player of the week nominations. But even for him, is Week 8 performance stood out. Evans sliced up the Big Spring defense for a whopping 419 yards on 29 of 41 passing and four touchdowns in a 42-13 victory. Not too shabby.
