Susquehanna Twp. football might be young, and the Indians might still be a year away from serious playoff contention, but Friday night’s 40-21 thrashing of Mid-Penn Keystone playmate Mechanicsburg showed the ‘Hanna Tribe remains an imposing midstate program.

Making the Grade: Bishop McDevitt 7, Susquehanna Twp. 3

Neither head coach seemed all that surprised that Bishop McDevitt and Susquehanna Township ended up being a defensive battle claimed by the Crusaders 7-3.

Two powerful offenses were ground to nearly a halt by each defense in a game that featured only 251 total yards, 16 first downs and a staggering 13 punts.
