SILVER SPRING TWP. — Josh Oswalt is still a young buck in coaching circles despite eight years as a head coach, but it’s hard to deny his knowledge of Mid-Penn football.
The Cumberland Valley grad grew up watching, playing (with and against) and coaching some of the best the conference had to offer for most of his 30 years. On Friday following a 35-0 drubbing at the hands of his alma mater for the eighth straight time, the Central York coach heaped some mighty big praise on a fellow Eagle.
Charlie Katshir, who you might have heard, is going to Penn State next year, had just picked apart Oswalt’s Panthers for 107 yards on six receptions, 22 yards on three carries and took away large swaths of the field as CV’s roving safety.
