By Andy Shay:
Each week we take a look at individual performances that helped the team against an opponent that provided a stern or respectable test to arrive at the 4th Down Player of the Week.
Who: Charlie Katshir, WR, DB, KR, Cumberland Valley
Why: Sometimes it’s not just what you do, but also who you do it against. When you impact a game in all three phases, and the opposition is highly regarded program, what anybody else does is irrelevant in terms of getting the call. Katshir scored on a 48-yard punt return and an 89-kickoff return against Central Dauphin in the Eagles’ dramatic victory over the Rams. He also caught five passes for 54 yards and had 11 tackles on defense. And as a friendly reminder this was all done against Central Dauphin. That’s one of the most impactful all-around games you’ll see when the opposition is state-caliber level. The 89-yard kickoff return was the biggest play of the game because CD has just grabbed its first lead of the night.
