Central Dauphin defensive end selected to NFL Prep Academy

Central Dauphin coach Glen McNamee pulled his freshman All-American defensive end aside during a work out May 7 at Central Dauphin High School.

McNamee delivered the latest accolade to Micah Parsons.

CD, Camp Hill freshmen earn Maxpreps 2014 All-American honors

A pair of Mid-Penn freshmen received national attention for their play from Maxpreps Dec. 29. Camp Hill's Zack Kuntz and Central Dauphin's Micah Parsons earned recognition on the first team 2014 Maxpreps Football Freshman All-American Team.

Somehow it feels wrong to say it, but the reality is Central Dauphin did pull off an upset Friday night in Berks County.

The District 3 Class AAAA championship game is set, and it will be a rematch of the 2011 title game between Central Dauphin and Wilson.

There is still one spot remaining in the District 3-AAA semifinal round, but as of this morning the top seed still playing is Red Land.

For the second consecutive postseason game the No. 5 seeded Patriots started a wee bit slow but turned on the jets in the second and third quarters to score 40-plus points.
