By 4th Down Staff:
Williams Valley has been more than its headline-making quarterback much of the season, and Week 7 was further proof of that.
Fans voted running back Brady Miller the Week 7 Player of the Week (with 619 votes) days after he put up a 21-carry, 112-yard, two-touchdown performance Friday night. That effort, including the game-winning score in overtime, helped the Vikings (6-1, 5-1 Tri-Valley League) beat Pine Grove 21-14 to stay in the league race.
Miller had a season-best 22 tackles (13 solo) in the win and a pass defended from his safety position as well.
The junior has set career highs in nearly every offensive category already this season. He has 692 rushing yards on 126 carries and has rushed for seven TDs. He also has 69 tackles and an interception
He's the third Viking to win Player of the Week this season, joining quarterback Levi Engle and lineman Spencer Dimon.

Miller barely edged Halifax's Broc Grosser's 589 votes. (Halifax and Williams Valley will meet in Week 9 in what may end up the TVL championship game.) Combined, the two Tri-Valley League standouts had 78.4 percent of the POTW vote. Northern's Kyle York was a distant third with 6.2 percent.
