You would think in a game with 911 yards of combined offense, there was a serious lack of defense, right? But that wasn’t the case for Bishop McDevitt and Milton Hershey in a District 3, Class 4A hammer opener at The Roc.

Neither head coach seemed all that surprised that Bishop McDevitt and Susquehanna Township ended up being a defensive battle claimed by the Crusaders 7-3.

Two powerful offenses were ground to nearly a halt by each defense in a game that featured only 251 total yards, 16 first downs and a staggering 13 punts.
